Early 19th century, mahogany veneers, vaulted top with central panel, line inlay, brass basket of flowers ring handle pull and cartouche escutcheon, interior with red paper lining, central compartment with later cut glass jar flanked by two lead-lined compartments with lids, the whole raised on four brass ball feet.

Glue repair to brass escutcheon (likely later), interior compartment in need of glue repairs, otherwise good estate condition with light general surface wear and one area of minor lifting to veneer at lid.
