Late 19th century, Zanesville, Ohio, five glazed ceramic tiles depicting relief portrait personifications of the four seasons, including one in saffron hue glaze (Spring), two in earth green (Summer and Autumn), and two in manganese (Summer and Winter), all with impressed mark to the verso and French season name glazed to recto, four presented in contemporary gilt frames.
