The first, mid-19th century, a six-panel screen, hand painted in a polychrome palette with gilt highlights, featuring a cock fight and children at play in a landscape with a mountain backdrop and architectural motifs, unsigned (16 x 49 in.); the second, early 20th century, a four-panel scene, hand painted in a polychrome palette with gilt details, featuring a group of figures in a monumental landscape with mountains and waterfalls, signed with a character mark at lower right (18 3/4 x 33 1/2 in.); each withing a silk brocade border with a lacquer frame.

The first, with a separation to joint of two panels, toning, scattered scratches and areas of abrasion and wear; damp staining and some puncturing to verso; the second, with light toning and scattered spotting, wear at joints, puncturing and minor tearing to verso.
