Each a woodblock print in colors; the first, Kobayashi Kiyochika (1847-1915), During the Yellow Sea Battle, a Sailor of Our Warship Matsushima, before Dying, Asked about the Fate of the Enemy Ship, circa 1890's, a diptych from a triptych, signed at upper left corner; the second, Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760-1849), a Geisha with umbrella, from World of Art - Bijutsu Sekai Vol.17 a series of 25 volumes which was published during 1890-94, a diptych form with embossed rain, signed at right edge.

Frame dimensions 18 3/4 x 24 1/2 in., 11 1/4 x 14 1/2 in.

Some light toning to Geisha woodblock; some wear and foxing to war print; both not examined outside of their frames.
