Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Tom Pfannerstill is a mixed media fine artist and maker of painstakingly recreated, finely wrought hand carved three-dimensional hyperrealist depictions of everyday common objects found on the street. Tom received his BFA (Cum Laude) in 1975 from Western Kentucky University, and has participated in several solo and group gallery exhibitions since the late 1980s. Recent exhibitions include a group show titled Hyperrealism, Deception and Blurred Media, at Blue Spiral 1 Gallery, Asheville, NC; and a solo exhibition at George Billis Gallery, New York, NY.
