Blue cloth-covered boards, top edge gilt. 12mo; 662; 690; 720; 729; 649pp. Each volume with portrait frontispiece. (Boards scuffed with occasional small stain or mark, light edgewear with corners bumped, one with light offsetting; spines browned with wear at head and tail, slight separation from text block and occasional hinge cracking; previous owner sticker on paste-downs, occasional writing in pencil; pages toned, (2) leaves in vol. 4 frayed with tears and small losses, vol. 5 with small stains at head and small damp stains at fore-edge; overall about good set.)

(Boards lightly marked and scuffed, corners mildly bumped, small tears at head and tail of spine; previous owner writing on first free endpaper, pages lightly toned with occasional light foxing mostly at fore-edges and endpapers, front hinge of vols. 1 and 2 cracked; good overall condition.)

Orange illustrated cloth-covered boards, top edge gilt. 4to; 272pp. With frontispiece and numerous full-page plates. (Boards slightly scuffed with gilt rubbed, browned especially at spine, corners lightly rubbed, spine with one pen mark, small stains and wear at head and tail; cracking at front hinge; pages very lightly toned with scattered foxing and occasional small stain.)
